本實驗室主要從事電化學相關研究,已發展出()奈米光電、 ()電泳晶片、 ()分析感測、()能源材料等研究領域。研發新的電化學分析分法,以改進偵測選擇性與靈敏度為目標,可應用於生醫分析、環保檢測、藥物與化妝品管制。 2003年與華廣生技(BioNime)合作成功研發最先進的血糖監測儀,提供糖尿病患者更準確、更可靠的居家血糖測試系統。目前的研發重點是以可拋式電極結合微晶片電泳元件製程,製備低成本、高價值的感測器,以應用於快速現場篩檢偵測。另一方面期望藉由電化學催化材料與機構之研究,結合太陽能及燃料電池,開創更有效率的新能源世紀。
