Our
research interests focus on both enzyme inhibition and physical chemistry of
lipids. We are interested in the
development of new drugs by quantitative structure activity relationship
(QSAR) for (1) treatment of Alzheimer’s disease
based on acetylcholinesterase inhibitors, (2) anti-penicillinase activity
from the penicillinase inhibitors, (3) lowering cholesterol ester level from
cholesterol esterase inhibitors, (4) anticoagulant from Thrombin inhibitors,
(5) NSAID for phospholipase A2 inhibitor, and (6) weight control based on the
inhibitor of lipase. We are also
interested in elucidation of lipid structures by NMR. |
