本課程將介紹: (1)水文循環的概念;(2)含水層的特性與描述地下水的移動;(3)地下水常見的污染物與其在地層內的傳輸現象;(4) 井的構造;(5)水文地質場址的調查;(6)非水溶相液體的特性;(6)地下水復育技術的種類與選擇。

This course will introduce: (1) the general concepts of hydrologic cycle; (2) the characteristics of aquifer and the descriptions of the mobility of groundwater; (3) the contaminants most commonly found in groundwater and their transports in groundwater; (4) the mechanics and the structures of well; (5) hydrogeologic site investigation; (6) nonaqueous phase liquid (NAPL); (7) groundwater remediation alternatives.

使學生瞭解地下水水文循環與污染物傳輸的基本觀念,並藉由地質與水文的調查,熟悉受污染場址土壤與地下水資訊的收集方式,同時藉目前污染物的特性解釋傳統復育技術的缺點,以及為什麼新的復育技術仍持續的發展,因此,有興趣的學生須要時常閱讀相關文獻,瞭解是否地下水復育技術有任何新的結果與突破。

The objectives of this course are: (1) to give the basic concepts of groundwater cycle and contaminant transports; (2) to be familiar with the dada collection methods by a strategy of detail hydrogeologic investigations of contaminated sites; (3) to provide the reasons why emerging remediation techniques are needed by illustrating the unique characteristics of contaminants and disadvantages of traditional technique. Any students who are interested in this topic are encouraged to keep an eye on the literature, including both results and breakthroughs frequently.
