| The mission
of the Office of Physical Education and
Sport states in part that it serves the
community, the nation, and even the world
by helping society define and respond
to its educational responsibilities and
challenges. To accomplish this mission,
this office provides a wide range of professional
services to schools, other institutions,
and individuals. One of the major vehicles
that the Office uses to meet this public
service responsibility is through its
three divisions: Division of Teaching
and Research; Division of Sports Activities;
Division of Sports Facilities. The administrative
organization includes one chairperson,
three chiefs, and several staffs (please
see chart 1). |
