Chinese’s history and heritage:

The department was established in Autumn, 1965. Professor Li Disheng, the founder, no toil nor labor feared, laid down the foundation for the department’s amazing growth and progress. The new members of the fullness of Confucian scholars were recruited. Wang Liching, Ming Yunchung, Kung Yingte, Chen Tingshan, Yang Tsungchen(Meng Yao) , Li Pingnan, etc

 Seeking to make students honest men or women, ithplainness, the most learned elder professors’ singing poem and their wisdom charms,all students’ and teachers’ being truly of one heart and one mind, doing this, and joining their hearts will swell,the lotus pond so classic sylvan in front of the poor wooden classroom huts so dear, all have been the mutual unforgettable memories in our Chinese-literature-man’s blood and the part of their dreaming for as far back as memory can reach, too.

We are proud of the graduates being the most confidential teachers or executives in both public and private business.

It’s currently under professor Chiang Chien-Yi who has received its particular heritage, and does his best to make a dynamic modern academic liberal arts of it.
